Hi, I am Lynn Thomas McRae, recently retired after 40 years an an information professional at Stanford University. Over the years I have been involved in administrative systems and identity management, but most recently I worked in the Stanford University Libraries as architect of their first generation Digital Library and Repository. Information management -- structure and access serving the dissemination of knowledge -- has been the common theme, and I am thrilled to turn from a manager of information to a consumer and creator of it. I look forward to being a member of the Wikipedia community.

I am also a collector, of minerals, of pottery, and of art. It is the latter that is the focus of my current research, and I hope to be able to add lots of good information about under-represented American artists and print makers of the early 20th century.
