Hello[edit]

I consider myself an interpreter: I edit information for the web, I am an early adopter of technologies and help others to learn, I translate requirements into computer programming code, and I am also a leader in helping people to understand each other. In helping people to understand one another, an important part of this leadership is to develop two-way trust where people are not afraid to speak the truth, where they understand themselves as well as others, and where they can change and allow others to change.

I believe there are no stupid questions, and that the most important attitude to have toward others is respect. I like solving problems, and I’m constantly looking for ways to improve things.

I read a couple of sayings recently that I agree with, and that describe my writing style. The first is: “When something can be read without effort, great effort has gone into its writing.” (Enrique Jardiel Poncela) The second is: “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

My hobbies are reading business, technology, local, national, and world news; journaling; writing poetry and prose; reading a wide variety of articles and books; photography; singing; strength training; and studying art, leadership, interpersonal communication, team building, Emotional Intelligence, and Social Intelligence.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, NIV)
