If you make an edit, and it gets reverted, then that's the end of that. Go to the talk page and try to get this sorted out. From that point forward, no one else is allowed to re-revert without also posting to the talk page.
This process is meant to protect against someone POV-pushing. It's just a work-in-progress idea, though.
