The 192nd Engineer Battalion is a combat engineer brigade of the United States Army and assigned to the Connecticut Army National Guard. It is headquartered in Stratford, Connecticut.
Structure
[edit]The unit is within the Waterbury-based 143rd Regional Support Group. Its own headquarters is in Stratford, Connecticut.[1]
History
[edit]Shortly after its formation, the unit was recognized federally on May 1775.[2]
In 2018, the brigade was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel.[3]
