Richard Riakporhe, (born 5 January 1990) is a British professional boxer. He is a cruiserweight boxer from South London, where he was born and raised. Riakporhe won the WBA Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title going up against Sam Hyde in November 2018. The famous boxing journalist Ryan Songalia and former 2-time world champion has compared Riakporhe to WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder due to his physic and power mirroring Deontay. Previous to this Richard was selected to represent England against international oppositions on two occasions and has been boxing since the age of 19 with a total of 8 years competitive experience.

Amateur career Richard began boxing in 2008, aged 18, at the Lynn ABC Amateur Boxing Club. South East South London.

The Millwall fan had a high KO percentage during his 35-bout amateur career with Lynn ABC and won the ABA Novice championship in 2012. He’s set to be matched at cruiserweight on his pro debut on July 30, but given time, we believe the 6ft 5ins boxer-puncher will grow into a heavyweight who will take some stopping.
