Background

Wikipedia brought together two things that should have been married long ago: the technology available on the internet, and the people that use the internet. I never get bored looking through Wiki vandalism. It's amazing that senselessness is created by creatures that can be sensible. Realizing that the world is not a sensible place is tough. If the rules don't matter, than there's little sense in following the rules. People are the only reason rules matter. And really, what matters? Why would I watch Wikipedians work? What's the difference? It leaves the question: if it's so senseless, what's the sense in cleaning the mess?
