I am an undergraduate studying Psychology, Sociology and Family studies. It is my goal to utilize my education to integrate my passion for mental health along with my love for the outdoors and eventually work my way into Wilderness Therapy. I currently lead various length trail experiences at Camp Manito-wish YMCA, a wilderness tripping summer camp located in Northern Wisconsin. I am currently involved in a Psychology lab as a research assistant, and within this lab, we are investigating emotion regulation and information processes in many different contexts (i.e, different types of trauma such as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, exposure to violent images, etc.). When time allows, I enjoying writing, reading and spending time with others.
