Re "Oxford High School Shooting" - the writing of this article was pseudo-journalistic, but in definite need of editing to meet journalistic standards. Wikipedia really needs to require a contact name, page or service for feedback to authors of articles. I have a lot of suggestions for whoever wrote the Oxford article, for improving their reporting of this and future articles.

I have not created any Wikipedia articles myself, but I have made minor edits to a few, and would not mind receiving feedback on my edits.

As for the far too frequent '[needs citation]' inserted into many articles, I rarely find the need for them, as the need for clarification seems to be based on some legal reasoning rather than any clarification of the information provided.
