Magellan Data and Mapping Strategies was founded in November of 2006 by David Flaherty in Louisville, Colorado. The firm provides a wide array of data and information services to political organizations, public affair firms, associations and businesses. Magellan’s products and services include quantitative survey research, data modeling, voter registration databases, political donor and consumer databases, database management, data enhancement, data mapping and voter targeting. Magellan also provides technical and database management support for redistricting to the Republican Party at the state and federal level. The Magellan employees have years of experience performing survey research, predictive analysis, and database enhancement, construction, and management. John Diez is a partner and manages the Baton Rouge, Louisiana office.
