Amongst other medicinal plants that Botswana has naturally produced and herbalists continue to use is Sengaparile (indigenous name), The medicinal plant is also known as Kalahari Devil's Claw has penetrate markets in the industrialized world as its extracts perform well in treating arthritis-related illnesses[1][2]english is know as Grapple Plant and also known as Hypagophytum Procubens in latin[3]

Sengaparile is a plant that grows in the natural semi-arid conditions on Botswana and it tubers "medi/roots" have got medicinal value, which has always been traditionally used to heel common illnesses not only human illnesses but also birds like chickens and other domestic animals illnesses[4]
