  • usually you'll find you need to rewrite the entire article. most of what was written is out-of-date, unreferenced, original research, and poorly written. Don't hesitate in getting rid of it
  • anything remotely dubious, out-of-place will be discovered. remove it, clarify, or cite it. most of these sentences are usually added years ago or by IP users.
  • google books is your friend!
