الكاتب والشاعر والمترجم ماجد دودين في سطور من مواليد دورا – الخليل 1959
• حصل على بكالوريوس في الأدب الانجليزي من جامعة اليرموك 1981. • انتسب إلى القوات المسلحة الأردنية بعد تخرجه من الجامعة برتبة ملازم عام 1981. • عمل في تدريس اللغة الانجليزية والعبرية والعربية للناطقين بغيرها ومدرّبا وضابطا للفحوصات ورئيس شعبة اللغة الإنجليزية ورئيس شعبة اللغات الأخرى ومساعدا لآمر معهد اللغات ورئيسا للمدربين خلال الفترة من 1981 إلى 2004 • اشترك في العديد من الدورات اللغوية التأسيسية والمتقدمة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وألمانيا. • عمل مترجما لمدة سنة واحدة بين عامي 93-94 مع قوات حفظ السلام الدولية في يوغوسلافيا السابقة مع الأمم المتحدة. • بعد 22 عاما من العمل في معهد اللغات أحيل على التقاعد برتبة عقيد ثقافة. • عمل محاضرا في مركز الدراسات والاستشارات وخدمة المجتمع في الجامعة الأردنية وجامعة اليرموك • أسس في عام 2004 (مركز المحبة الثقافي للغات والحاسوب) في الأردن - الرصيفة • عمل مشرفا اداريا ومدربا للترجمة واللغة الانجليزية في مجموعة طلال أبو غزالة من 2005 - 2008 • عمل مترجما في العديد من الشركات الكبرى في الامارات العربية المتحدة-أبو ظبي 2008 - 2013 • يعمل منذ 23 فبراير 2014 مترجما ومحررا بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة
Women are Oxygen by Majed Dodeen I have written more than forty books. Most of them are on and for women. An astonished journalist interviewed me and asked, not without a good deal of shrewdness: Why do you write most of your books on and for women?” My clear and frank reply was, “I am a man who refuses to be a hypocrite and I like and must be just, fair and honest; women for me are more important than oxygen because they are our mothers, sisters, wives and daughters. Women are our companions, our beloved soul mates and the sisters of men … they are the queens of the faithful kingdom of marriage. If we try to imagine life without women, we may find it to be a barren, treeless, waterless desert without the means for prosperity. The kind, innocent and pious woman represents the beloved name, the magnificent symbol, the pleasant melody, the dear homeland, the genuine love, the compassion, kindness, truth, goodness, beauty, the right concept, the insight and the wonderful idea. They are the mind, the heart, the conscience, the peak that encompasses all the meanings of innocence, generosity, loyalty and purity. Women are the inspiration for all the fine arts and are that beautiful common denominator in all our lives.
The poet says about her “You are my inspiration,” and the merchant says “You are the treasure of my hopes,” The doctor says to her “You are the remedy for my heart,” And the jeweler says “You are the gem,” and the lawyer says to her “You are my triumph,” The politician says, “You are the conviction that will never be annulled,” and the grocer says to her “You are as sweet as honey” and the electrician says “You are the light of my life,” and the translator says to her “You are the dictionary in my life”. Life is a beautiful equation based on the equilibrium: man + woman = life. Anything else created by Allah is for them both, and they are created for an exalted goal dearer than materialism, a purpose meant for the world of the spirit to be the rope that holds us, the path that leads us to the truth without which our existence becomes of no avail and knows only absurdity, misery and despair. The day is made up of 24 hours, as if it were 24 empty cups. The key question is what should we fill the cups of our lives with?
We can fill our lives with love, peace, beauty, elegance, morals, ethics, knowledge, faith and charity
المرأة هي الأكسجين بقلم: ماجد دودين لقد كتبت أكثر من أربعين كتابا معظمها للمرأة وعن المرأة، وسألني أحد الصحفيين لماذا أكتب للمرأة وعنها؟ وكان جوابي الواضح الصريح: " أنا رجل أرفض أن أكون من المنافقين وأحب ويجب أن أكون من المنصفين، إن المرأة عندي أهم من الأكسجين...لأن المرأة هي الأم والأخت والزوجة والبنت... إنها رفيقة الدرب وحبيبة القلب وشقيقة الرجل ...وملكة مملكة الزواج الإيمانية.. ولو تخَيلنا الحياة بدونها فستكون صحراء بلا خضرة وبلا نضرة وبلا ربيع وبلا ماء إن المرأة الطيبة التقية النقية تمثل الاسم المحبوب والرمز الرائع واللحن العذب والوطن الغالي والحب الحقيقي والمودة والرحمة والسكن والحق والخير والجمال والصورة الصادقة والنظرة الصائبة والفكرة الرائعة والعقل والقلب والضمير والسمو والعلياء والسناء وكل معاني البراءة والنقاء والعطاء والوفاء والصفاء إن المرأة هي الملهمة لكل الفنون الجميلة الراقية وهي القاسم المشترك الجميل في حياتنا جميعا الشاعر يقول لها: يا مصدر إلهامي * والتاجر يقول لها: يا كنز آمالي والطبيب يقول لها: يا دواء قلبي والصائغ يقول لها: يا حلية النساء * والمحامي يقول لها: يا قضيتي الرابحة والسياسي يقول لها: يا معاهدة حبي التي لن أنقضها والبقال يقول لها: يا حلوة كالسكر* والكهربائي يقول لها: يا نور عمري والمترجم يقول لها: يا قاموس حياتي والحياة معادلة جميلة قائمة على التوازن: رجل + امرأة = حياة...وما عداهما خلقه الله سبحانه لهما ومن أجلهما، وهما خلقا لهدف أسمى يتجاوز الماديات وينطلق إلى عالم الروح ليكون الإطار والخيط العام الذي يقودنا إلى الحقيقة التي تكون الحياة بدونها عبثا وتعاسة ويأسا. إن اليوم عبارة عن 24 ساعة وكأني به 24 كأسا فارغة.. والسؤال الجوهري: بماذا نملأ كؤوس حياتنا؟ إن باستطاعتنا أن نملأها حبا وسلاما ومحبة وروعة ورقة وأناقة وأدبا وأخلاقا وعلما وإيمانا وإحسانا وجمالا

القادم الجديد والفوز العظيم بقلم ماجد دودين جلست ونفسي…في الكون…في الإنسان…في الحياة…في مصطلحات ومفاهيم ومفردات هذا العالم العجيب بدأت أفكر... اختلط الواقع بالخيال فقلت لنفسي: " ترى ماذا سيجيب جنين لم يصل من سفره بَعْد إلى عالمنا؟ أدرت قرص الهاتف على الرقم المطلوب واتصلت بالجنين... قلت له: حدّثنا عن ظروف حياتك وكيف تعيش؟ قال: “أنا أعيش في سعادة وهناء وسرور وفرح وسعادة وراحة رغم أني أعيش في حجرة صغيرة مظلمة…اسمها ـــــ الرحم ــــــ هنا حبل سُرِّي يغذيني…سائل أميوني من الصدمات يقيني…عالمي جميل رائق رائع…عالمي بعيد عن النفاق والزيف والخداع والرياء وكل الشرور... وانتظرت!! وما هي إلا أيام معدودة…وتحطّ الطائرة في مطار الحياة…وعند سُلَّمها سألت القادم الجديد وكان ما يزال يصرخ بحرارة وحوله من يضحكون بحرارة…سألته: ماذا تقول الآن وقد أبصرت عيناك النور… نور الحياة؟ قال: "عالمكم مظلم رغم اتساعه…وُلدت باكياً...وسأعيش شاكياً…الحياة: دموع…آهات…ثم موت…ليتني بقيت في رحم أميّ إلى الأبد … ليتني لم آت إلى دنياكم…دنيا النفاق والزيف والخداع والرياء والشرور…. قلت له: " إن هناك طريقا تستطيع بإتباعه أنْ تُغيّرَ مصطلحات حياتك…دموعك تحوّلها إلى شموع… آهاتك إلى ابتسامات… وحتى موتك إلى حياة. لقد ولدت وأنت تبكي والناس من حولك يضحكون، حلوى يوزّعون، باستطاعتك أن تموت وأنت تضحك والناس من حولك يبكون. وسرعان ما نطق…ما هو هذا الطريق…أرجوك أن تدلني عليه؟ قلت له: باختصار؛ كن في حياتك الإنسان… الإنسان الذي يملك الإيمان بالله الواحد الأحد وصفاته وأسمائه الحسنى وأنه: 1- الأحد المنفرد ليس معه غيره 2- الأول لا شيء قبله 3-البارئ الخالق لما فيه روح 4-الباسط موسع الرزق والعلم وموسع ما شاء من كونه ومخلوقاته ورحمته 5-الباطن لا يعلم أحد ذاته 6-الباعث باعث الرسل إلى الناس وباعث الموتى من القبور وباعث الحياة كلها 7-الباقي لا يناله تغير ولا تبدل ولا زوال 8-البديع أوجد كل شيء ولا مثيل له 9-البر كثير العطايا والإحسان 10-البصير المبصر العالم الخبير من أسمائه تعالى 11-التواب يقبل توبة عباده 12-الجامع The Newcomer & the Great Success - Poem by Majed Dodeen The Great Success & Everlasting Delight by: Majed Dodeen I sat alone meditating and contemplating, Deeply thinking about the universe, the human being and life. I asked myself: What would a fetus say if I were to phone him, If I were to ask him about the circumstances there in his mother's womb; How is he living? I called him up and asked him to tell me something about his life…. His answer was: Although my world is tiny, I am very happy here … An umbilical cord feeds me, A strange amniotic fluid protects me against any outside effects. My world is ideal…no lying…no cheating and no hypocrisy… I asked him if he had anything to add. He replied,” for the time being, he could not form his impression of the other side of the story” His last exact words were 'good-bye! Until we meet in your world'. I waited until the plane landed after that nice short journey, The delivery had already taken place The child was still crying People around were cheerfully laughing. Then I asked the newborn baby,” as a newcomer to our world, What would you say now”? His answer was,” although your world is huge, I see it gloomy and dark. This life is weary; a tear, a sigh, Then I will say good-bye and die. Your world is full of lying, cheating and hypocrisy. I wished I stayed in my mother's womb forever”. I told him 'there is a way if you follow, you can change the terms of your life. Your tears can become candles; Your sighs can become smiles Even your death can become life in itself. You have come to this world while crying When people around you were laughing. Following that way, you die smiling When people around you are crying… He immediately asked me, 'What is this way? The Ideal Queen by Majed Dodeen
• “I wish you would believe me when I say that the problem of the majority of girls nowadays is that they are earnestly looking for husbands, but my own problem is that I cannot find a suitable wife; a perfect queen.”
• “What is this philosophical delirium or babbling that carries with it bitter seeds of fatal vanity? Who are you to make such allegations or judgments unsubstantiated by concrete evidence?”
I agree with you that your particular problem is that you don't find an appropriate wife since you may have special characteristics or traits of the girl that you want to be your soul mate, companion and partner forever. However, I do not agree with you that the problem of the majority of girls nowadays is that they are earnestly looking for husbands.
Actually, the Earth revolves around the sun. The opposite will never happen. Whether a man likes it or not, he should rotate in the woman's orbit as she represents for her husband love, affection, compassion, spiritual peace, psychological tranquility and the vital human component that complements his life cycle at every level.” • “What you say is quite true, but the difference is that I refuse to launch my life cycle with a flimsy bubble that goes off after a moment or a flash of time. I refuse to imitate that mythical sculptor who did not like any girl in his era, so he spent half of his lifetime sculpturing a physical shape to the imaginary perfect wife whom he dreamt of, loves and desires. • After many years, the professional sculptor accomplished his meticulous, awesome and exquisite masterpiece. He prayed and supplicated that this lifeless rigid stone shape to become a live energetic mass overflowing with vivacity and liveliness. His prayers were accepted and answered. He flew to the orbit with merriment and happiness. He thought that he had possessed all of the keys of pleasure. However, that poor sculptor did not know that if he could have designed and molded beauty on the outside structure and appearance, he had not accessed the inner essence and could not create beauty within it. The wind had gone from his sails. Things did not go the way he expected. His beloved masterpiece sculpture or "statue" was merely a fierce and an aggressive woman with which no man can live with at all. What is the solution to this predicament? How to get rid of this dilemma? • The sculptor prayed again that this dull-witted termagant wife return into that motionless rigid stone form. His prayers were accepted. He went as fast as lightning and brought a hammer. He hit the statue hysterically and smashed it until he converted it to a dead soil pile and the experience taught him a hard lesson. • To sum up, I am simply one of the men in this world. I want, in principle, only one wife of all women in this world. So how should she be? What are her qualities, traits and characteristics?
I want her a woman that I accept to be a mother to my kids before being a wife because any woman can be a wife but can every woman be a mother.
• I want her to be a queen, a wife and a mother who knows how to construct and do good deeds. I like her to be the kind, innocent and pious wife who represents the beloved name, the magnificent symbol, the pleasant melody, the dear homeland, the genuine love, the compassion, kindness, truth, goodness, beauty, the right concept, the insight and the wonderful idea. I like her to be the mind, the heart, the conscience, the peak that encompasses all the meanings of innocence, generosity, loyalty and purity. The righteous wife is one who is good in many aspects. She is the one who it is thought will guard her chastity and her honor in the husband’s presence and absence, and be diligent with regard to both minor and major issues. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning),” Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has made one of them excel over the other, and because they spend out of their possessions (to support them). Thus righteous women are obedient and guard the rights of men in their absence under Allah's protection” Quran 4:34. She is the one who is of good character and has good manners. She is not known for foul speech, meanness or bad manners; rather she is good-natured, pure of soul and clean of heart, speaks in a gentle manner and treats people kindly. More important than all of that, she accepts advice and listens to it attentively and wholeheartedly. She is not one of those who are used to arguing stubbornly and arrogantly. One of the scholars said: The best of women is the one who, if she is given she is grateful, and if she is deprived she is patient; you feel happy when you look at her, and she obeys you if you instruct her to do something. She is the one who upholds her connection to her Lord and always strives to increase her level of faith and piety. She does not omit any obligatory duty, and she is keen to do some naafil (supererogatory) deeds. She gives precedence to pleasing Allah, may He be glorified, over everything else. Concerning that, the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, “Choose the one who is religiously-committed, may your hands be rubbed with dust (i.e., may you prosper).” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (4802) and Muslim (1466). The righteous wife is the one whom you see is serious about caring for and raising your children, teaching them Islam, good manners and the Qur’an, and instilling in them love for Allah, love for His Messenger, and love of good for all people. Her main concern is not what they may attain in this world of prominence, wealth and degrees; rather she is concerned that they should attain a high level of piety, religious commitment, good character and knowledge. In addition to all of that, the Muslim should choose a wife who gives him comfort when he sees her, and he feels joy in his heart when she is present, so she fills his house and his life with ease, joy and happiness. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what type of wife is best? He said: “The one who makes (her husband) happy when he looks at her, and she obeys him if he instructs her to do something, and she does not do anything with regard to herself or his wealth in a manner of which he does not approve.” Narrated by Ahmad (2/251); classed as hasan (good) by al-Albaani in as-Silsilah as-Saheehah (1838). It was said to ‘Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her): Which type of woman is best? She said,” The one who does not know about saying bad things, and she is not crafty like men; her focus is on adorning herself for her husband and taking care of her family.”
• The matrimonial home is a kingdom. The husband is the king and the wife is the queen. A kingdom of responsibility as well as a privilege. I have the right to look for a suitable queen. Allah says in the Noble Quran, (30:20),” And of His Signs is that He created you from dust and behold, you became human beings, and are multiplying around (the earth). (30:21) And of His Signs is that He has created mates for you from your own kind that you may find peace in them and He has set between you love and mercy. Surely there are Signs in this for those who reflect.”
