João Lemos Esteves

Natural from Gafanha da Nazaré has a degree and a Master's degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon with 18 values. He collaborated with the newspaper Expresso with a space for political commentary called Politicoesfera.

Considering the popularity obtained this space came to the television with a rubric in SIC Portuguese TV, having counted in its last program with the presence of Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. He has participated in other television programs where he discusses subjects related to Law and Politics.

Member of PSD Party was one of the founders of the spontaneous movement "Youth with Marcelo" in 2009 that supported a possible candidacy of Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa to the leadership of the Social Democratic Party.

He is currently a contributor and political commentator on the newspaper SOL, with some of his articles reaching several tens of thousands of readings. In Mercado newspaper, in Angola, he writes on legal matters.

In 2016 he published the book "Right Margin" that brings together the best political chronicles written in Expresso e SOL Portuguese Newspapers.

In 2018 he published the book "D-Day" about the election of the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

He´s Assistant to the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in the areas of Civil Law (including, Comparative Law), Commercial Law, Litigation (civil and constitutional), Constitutional Law and Political Science and State Theory.
