History[edit]

In addition to Classroom Response Systems, eInstruction works with educators providing professional development and training opportunities across the globe. It has offices in Denton, Texas; Columbia, Maryland; Scottsdale, Arizona; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Paris.

Products timeline[edit]

2006: EXAMVIEW[edit]

In 2006, eInstruction aquired FS Creations, creators of EXAMVIEW. Together, CPS and EXAMVIEW offered a platform which is intended to help educators to incorporate textbook publisher question banks into their lesson plans, quizzes, and tests, and allows for real-time assessment and feedback.

2008: INTERWRITE[edit]

In 2008 eInstruction acquired GTCO and introduced the INTERWRITESchoolPad and INTERWRITEPAD wireless interactive tablets. 2008 also brought with it the integration of EXAMVIEW, CPS, and INTERWRITEWORKSPACE software. This integration brought together three key elements of teaching: content, instruction, and assessment. (Also see formative assessment).

2009: eICommunity and Cornerstone[edit]

The eI Community™ is an online resource center open to all, where teachers can find and share educational resources and discuss best practices together. Also, the eI Cornerstone Education Suite was launched. Cornerstone is an administrator tool (enterprise based) which allows monitoring and analyzing student performance data, distributing content and assessments, and centrally managing district technology.
