La serie Volcanic Islands è una famiglia di schede video per computer sviluppata da AMD. E' basata su un processo a 28 nm prodotti da TSMC o Common Platform, sono state presentare il 25 settembre 2013 al AMD GPU TECH 2014.[2]

- La GPU CGN 1.0 si trova sulle R9 280 e 280X, R7 240, 250, 250X, 265, 270, 270X, e R5 240

[edit]La Radeon R9 295X2 è stata rilasciata il 21 aprile 2014. E' una scheda video con doppia GPU. E' la prima scheda video reference ad avere un sistema di dissipazione a licquido ad anello chiuso. Con 11.5 teraflops di potenza computazione è la scheda video consumer più potente del mondo.[3]
