This individual is currently a student attending the University of Southern California. She is currently working on stem cell research and has assisted in advances in stem cell regeneration and embryonic stem cell development. These advances have led her to receive recognition from the National Medical Association, National Stem Cell Foundation and the California governor Jerry Brown. She has also began a non-profit organization to help those who need special research in order to survive.

Personal Life

This individual grew up in Troy, Michigan and is from a Russian first generation immigrant family of ten children. She was the oldest of the ten children and helped her family by working at a local restaurant, saving up her money to expand her education. After high school, she immediately pursued an interest in the medical field at USC. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Genetics. She furthered her education by receiving her Master's Degree in order to begin her genetic research in specifically stem cells.

Interests

On her free time, she enjoys hiking and dancing as well as catching up on her favorite TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Vampire Diaries and 90210. She also enjoys traveling the world, especially the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She has gone sky diving on several different occasions. She has been seen spending time with social figures such as The Dali Lama and previously Mother Teresa, whom she says have inspired her to continue helping others.

Future Goals

This individual Hopes to soon start a family of her own, continue her embryonic stem cell research and hopefully cure diseases such as Parkinson's Disease and Coronary Heart Disease. She would like to soon visit the seven wonders of the world and touch the lives of more individuals.
