Maria Karipis (Born 1984) Is a professional Dancer with many credits to her name. Excelling in the style of Tap, Maria won numerous awards and prizes and went on to performing in Musicals, and many corporate events and functions. Maria studied Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Classical Ballet and Acrobatics. Maria has danced and performed professionally with many of the big names in the industry, as well as appearing on TV series, Movies and a documentary on Tap Dance. Maria is also a dance teacher, having taught at many prestigious schools and studios in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong as well as at Performing Arts Primary and High schools and teaching and choreographing at local Primary schools in Sydney. Maria has taught at the well known Sydney Dance Company and has choreographed many shows and events. Maria has operated and owned a Dance School of her own and continues to teach and choreograph Dance as well as being involved in the Health and Fitness Industry.
