I'm a phd student at the New Media in Education laboratory (NewMinE Lab) of the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), and scientific collaborator for the Laboratory of Visual Culture of University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). I live and work between Lugano (Switzerland) and Lonate Pozzolo (Italy). I'm carrying out my research in the area of Information Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D), with a special interest on art, education and urban studies. My research deals with the analysis of access to information about developing urban environments. Currently, I'm questioning the role of the Internet in Douala (Cameroon) by exploring the image of the city generated by digital information in comparison with the urban social representation given by locals and foreigners.
