Masoud Shakiba: was born in 1983 in north of Iran - Gonbad e Kavoos. He received his BEng in software engineering from Payam-e-Noor University, Iran in 2007. He was the CEO, shareholder and co-founder of the DPShakiba Company from 2002 to 2009. The company was active in the domain of computer and ICT. He was also the establisher and educational manager of the Shakiba Open Technical and Vocational Institute in the domain of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship between 2007 and 2009. He finished his MSc in information technology (industrial computing) at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2012. He was a research assistant in the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, UKM from 2011 to May 2012. In May 2012, he was appointed as a PhD candidate and technical executive at the Electrical, Electronic and Engineering Systems department, FKAB, UKM, Malaysia. He successfully passed his PhD defense in May 2015. He is currently a research assistant at the Center for Software Technology and Management, FTSM, UKM, and the student member of IEEE and IEEE Computer Society. During his study, he was the president of the Iranian Students Association at UKM, and a committee member and webmaster at the IEEE UKM Student Branch.
