Sanjay Jha is the powerful General Secretary of Janta Dal United(JDU),a regional party whose national president is Nitish Kumar.Jha was the Member of Bihar Legislative Council from 2006-12,from the Governor's quota.He is also known as the modern Chankya of Bihar as he is considered as the architect of the break-up of the Grand Alliance experiment.He completed his M.A. from the prestigious Jawahar lal Nehru University,New Delhi,and subsequently joined politics.He was in BJP till 2012,and later joined JDU.He is also considered as the bridge between Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.
