Hello, I am Gene.

I like to contribute to Wikipedia when I can, which isn't often. I got my start in Wikipedia on a whim. I edited the page on Cesar_Chavez whom I knew almost nothing about, but I knew there was a street in San Francisco named after him, so I added that in. Since then, I have just a smattering of stuff in a lot of weird, unrelated areas Antigo, Wisconsin, San Mateo Highlands, Raptor Education Group Inc., Pan Wenshi, Slow Food Nation, The Kid's Last Fight, Winning_streak_(sports), Kettlebowl, Original_equipment_manufacturer ...

I am a Software Product Manager, which means I gather together artists, engineers, business people and customers and try to get all the ideas into a cohesive vision for a product. It's like herding cats sometimes.

  • 1988-1992 - MIT - a little technical school in Cambridge, MA
  • 1992-1995 - Stanford - a country club and educational institution in Palo Alto, CA
