[edit]The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music was founded in 2007 in the Detroit, Michigan metropolitan area. Their slogan is "Stop Practicing, Start Performing". Founded upon the principles of their “Declaration of Rock” they have set in course their desire and plan "to change the course of music education." The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music provides weekly music mentorships and production rehearsals. They also provide performance opportunities for their students to gain experience with professional musicians.
