What ya need to know about me?
[edit]
Hi everyone! My name is Mady and I am 21. I live in the country outside a little hamlet; basically in the middle of nowhere. I come from a family of 5 people and is the only girl and youngest in the family so I guess I was a little spoiled in my younger years.
Personal Life
[edit]
Here is going to be a little run down on my life:
- Born in the middle of one of Canada’s hard winters.
- Have grown up with the meaning of hard work with living on a farm for my entire life and having to do barn and house chores. As well as field work in the summer months.
- Moved off to the big city for post-secondary education to get an undergraduate degree.
- When I am not at or doing school work I am working my butt off to pay or my education and hanging out with my wonderful friends (when I have time).
Education and Academic Career
[edit]
Well I guess I have been in school now for my entire life. I started with preschool, then elementary school, followed by a long, good old drama filled 4.5 years of secondary school. Currently I have just completed my 2nd year of post-secondary education working towards my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Hobbies
[edit]
When I am not busy with school or work my hobbies include:
- Spending time with my family and friends
- Spending time on the farm doing chores and playing with my dog; Buddy, cats; Abby, Speedy, Midnight and Sambuka, and my pet goat; Emily.
- Singing (church choir or anywhere that has good acustics)
- Listening to music
- Reading books (mostly have time for books that deal with medical background)
- Watching television
- Spending time on Facebook
- Being a leader in Girl Guides [2]
- Camping/Hiking
- Going for runs and walks
- And when I get really bored I enjoy cleaning my room
