The Mediocre rogainer (MR) is Ian Gordon. I discovered rogaining quite late in life, at age 44, and have enthusiastically participated since. Mostly with my daughter Anna, I have competed in about 15 24 hour events, including all Australian Championships from 2003 onwards and all Victorian Championships since 2000. I contribute an occasional column to the Victorian Rogaining Association's newsletter, as MR.

The image on the main rogaining page was posted by me and is taken at the summit of the course for the Victorian Rogaining Championships in 2001, "Harrop's Folly", held in the Strathbogies. The team members at the checkpoint are Tom and Rose Gordon.
