My name is Marko, I'm an electrical engineer, hobby photographer and owner of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, which shares my birthday. The centre of my life is in the middle of Germany. I am interested in everything that has to do with vehicles and especially with US cars of the 50s, 60s and 70s. In particular my favourites are

  • the Chevrolet Camaro
  • the Chevrolet Chevelle
  • the Chevrolet Corvair
  • the Chevrolet Monte Carlo
  • the Pontiac Firebird
  • the Pontiac GTO
  • the Dodge Coronet

In the past I also owned a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon as a hobby and fun car.

My knowledge is based on many articles I have read on US cars in the German and English language internet as well as in forums, the observations I have made when visiting US car and classic car meetings and the "study" of some books and treatises on the subject, including those listed under sources.

My contributions have been researched and are based on reliable sources. Should the impression arise that information is insufficiently substantiated, please let me know before deleting or undoing!

My Wikipedia work also concentrates on US cars, classic cars and other vehicles in the German Wikipedia. I usually sift through the motor vehicle sections and try to improve articles as I sift through them and when necessary.

Thanks a lot and have fun with Wikipedia

Marko
