Antiques expert and author Mark F. Moran is producer of Atlantique City, the world's largest indoor antiques and collectibles fair held twice annually — March and October — at the Atlantic City, N.J., Convention Center. He is also editorial director of F+W Publications Antiques Group.

Moran assumed his duties March 16, 2005, and is based in the Iola, Wis., office of F+W Publications, which owns the show and publishes Antique Trader magazine.

Moran has been buying and selling antiques since 1973, specializing in vintage folk art, Americana, and fine art. He has been a member of Country Comfort Antiques in Winona, Minn., and Riverview Antiques Market in Milwaukee. He has exhibited at numerous shows in the Upper Midwest and worked in dealer development and vetting for antiques shows at the Sandwich Antiques Market in Sandwich, Ill.

As an author, he has contributed to Antique Review, Antique Trader, Collector's Journal, and Maine Antique Digest.

Moran studied art education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and political science at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. From 1973 to 2002, he held various writing and editing positions at daily newspapers in Green Bay, Wis., and Rochester, Minn.
