My name is Mhairi Bowe. I am an academic psychologist with a MSc from Dundee_University where I am currently pursuing a PhD in Social Psychology. My primary research interest is in identity continuity in social groups such as the nation and family but I will also be looking at other identity markers which can lead people to gain a sense of continuity of self.
I have recently (August 2008) become active on Wikipedia as part of a group of students taking part in the Self and Identity workshop at the EAESP Summer School at the School of Psychology, Cardiff University,Cardiff.
