There are rich cultures and attractive landscapes in Bali Township. Located in the roots of the Siaoguanyin Mountain, Bali Township was an inhabitation of Ketagalan in ancient times. Moreover, Bali Township was surrounded by Tamsuir River, Datun Mountain and Chihsing Mountain. With all these precious resources in Bali Township, Mi-Tsang Elementary School was an exceptionally great location for education.
Mi-Cang Elementary School was established on March 29th, 1922. There are 13 classes,279 students in Mi-Cang . Although the school is small numerically, there is a large amount of space for the school to use at its discretion. The School site is 3.2 hectares. For the students of Mi-Cang, this means a larger amount of space for activities than would be enjoyed at similar schools in the area. Browing up in this lovely environment, students could experience the nature freely and learn some skills of Taiwanese folk artistry. As a result, Mi-Cang is a school full of features and future.
Ms Ai-Ling Lin is the present principal of Mi-Cang. After her arrival, she and all the faculty worked hard to attain their visions: "Health, gratitude, Teamwork and Improvement." They expected to establish a happy wonderland for students, a professional development field for teachers and a center for community empowerment. Moreover, Ms Ai-Ling Lin hopes this Toy Wonderland will attract students' attention, arouse their love of studying, build up their self-confidence and develop their own speciality. Because all faculty endeavored to fulfill their visions, Mi-Cang became an outstanding school. However, Ms Ai-Ling Lin expects that Mi-Cang will become not only a characteristic school in New Taipei City, but also a remarkable school in all of Taiwan.
