Biography
[edit]Lisa Feigneson (birth year and place unknown as of this edit) is the co-director of the Johns Hopkins University Laboratory for Child Development.[1] She was also the recipient of the Troland Award for the National Academy of Sciences, the Boyd McCandless Early Career Award from the American Psychological Association, and a Scholar Award from the James S. McDonnell Foundation. Her research includes understanding the cognitive abilities, as well as the evolution of a child's thinking within their maturation, development, and experience. Her current research in her lab investigates the development of numerical abilities with mathematics, the development of working memory, and the nature of early learning. Her work has appeared in Science, Nature," and the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
She also does additional research with studying ancient questions such as nature vs. nurture from children. [2] Along with what humans are predisposed of because of our biological inheritance.
