I am Michael W. Busch, a research scientist at the SETI Institute. I used to edit Wikipedia fairly extensively under the username Michaelbusch.

I have not used my old account in the past 5 years, and the email account it was linked to no longer exists. Hence the alternate account.

I do not expect to return to a significant amount of editing.
