According to the July 1998 trial edition of the Chinese Mahjong Competition Rules approved by the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China (referred to as the '98 Rules' hereinafter), the list of standardized mahjong scoring elements is provided.

Big Four Winds

In the winning hand, there are three sets of pongs/kongs of the three dragon tiles

Big Three Dragons

All Green

composed of any tiles from the suits of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 of bamboo (sticks), plus the Green Dragon tile

Four Kongs

All the score rule above and below can be subject to be added when calculating the final score. The second example from Four kongs can also scored as All types, Mixed one and nine. Three same Pungs.

Seven Shifted Pairs

Winning hand consisting of 7 pairs of consecutive sequential tiles of one suit. Can not include any honor tile suits. ( wind or dragon).

Thirteen Orphans

Can be a choice if you have bad starting hand. If you start with a lot of Honor tiles and have all the tiles from all three suits and not too connected.
