Timothy James Richardson (October 18, 1854 – December 24, 1956) was an American outlaw, bank and train robber, and the lead enforcer of the Lawson-Miller Gang.

From 1869 to 1889, Richardson engaged in criminal activity as a member of the Lawson-Miller Gang. The gang robbed banks, stagecoaches, and trains across the Midwest, gaining national fame despite the brutality of their crimes. In 1889, Richardson left the gang after months of failed robberies and the deaths of several gang members. He also realized that the outlaw lifestyle would not be able to support his family. With the country changing and outlaws being hunted down, Richardson left with his family when he had the chance.

After leaving the outlaw lifestyle, Richardson and his family founded the Richardson Foundation, an organization that would help those in need. For the remainder of his life, Timothy James Richardson would be known as a caring and generous man.

Richardson's life has been dramatized in different media, and he remains one of the most well-known icons of the "Wild West" era.
