Hello, My name is Mike McCulloch and I am a mature student at Manchester Metropolitan University in England. I am endeavouring to create a worthy article on the Manchester Women's Christian Temperance Association and also a Freeman of the City of Manchester namely Herbert Philips Esq., J.P. This is because there are only very brief entries in Wikipedia regarding the English Temperance movement and I feel one is required to provide an overview and direct students etc to the academic sources.
