Pepe the Gr8 is a fictional character from the YouTube video The Birth of Pepe. He was created by Mister Castle in his basement. In the video, Pepe was created by Bill the Money Bear but had his idea stolen by Tyler Blue. Pepe is conflicted with his existence and does not know who to side with. In the end, Pepe was murdered by Mickey Mouse who ended up using the sink to kill him. Despite his death, it is revealed he was resurrected by Bill who ends up printing him again giving Pepe a second chance at life. Mister Castle created the character when was bored sitting at his computer and decided to create him as a joke. The name Pepe comes from the fact that Mister Castle found this name to "sound funny."
