Seeds. Entertainment (also known as Seeds.), was established in conjunction with its sister publication, The Dailyer Nebraskan, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.[1] in 2008.

While The Dailyer Nebraskan is a satirical paper, Seeds. content is largely serious in nature. Featuring reviews of albums, movies, television and interviews with famous celebrities and current artists such as Chuck Klosterman, Iron & Wine, Against Me!, Cold War Kids, Manchester Orchestra, City & Colour, Beirut, fun., Ben Kweller, Adam Sessler, Dropkick Murphys, Goo Goo Dolls, Blitzen Trapper, The Hood Internet, Coheed & Cambria, and controversial blogger Strike Gently.

History[edit]

Founded alongside the Dailyer Nebraskan, Seeds. has blossomed from covering local Lincoln entertainment scene, featuring interviews with Nebraska artists and celebrities to covering national events and releases as well as garnering interviews with more high profile artists.

In October of 2011, Seeds. officially launched a new series of podcasts, "Seeds. Pod.", under a weekly format. Seeds. Pod. is hosted by Seeds. staffers and features rotating guest spots by numerous local contributors discussing various subjects in entertainment with a large focus on music, film and television.

Format[edit]

Seeds. more often than not includes two high profile interviews alongside entertainment reviews and opinion pieces on current entertainment issues.
