About Me

[edit]
en-N This user has a native understanding of English.

Kia ora,

My name is Rachel Bell and I am the archivist at the Fletcher Trust Archives. I am based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand.

I grew up in rural Aotearoa and maintain an interest in agricultural history and non-urban areas. I am also a keen knitter/spinner/beginner weaver and have a special interest in textiles and textile history.

I am very new to Wikipedia (July 2024) and finding my way slowly. Please don't hesitate to reach out if I do anything wrong!

Conflict of Interest

[edit]

I am a paid employee of the Fletcher Trust, an independent, registered charitable trust in Aotearoa New Zealand. The Trust’s philanthropic strategy is to focus on supporting initiatives in education that have the potential to positively impact on large numbers of young New Zealanders.

[I intend to add more to this COI statement as I understand more re: requirements in this area]
