April Fools 2008

April Fools 2008 was full of bad jokes in Port Macquarie, including

• 2MC FM's Man Eating Shark joke
  • A man-eating shark had apparently been caught and Seaworld was coming to pick it up
  • It was a man eating some shark in a tent
• Google's gDay hoax

Port Macquarie High School even joined in, stating on their information board that

"As of today,

it is official

We are no longer P.M.H.S

We are now

'St. Marks by the Sea'".
