My name is Mike Perry. I have a Ph.D. in computer science (Univ. of Colo. 1984) but have spent most of my employment in cryonics, a field that deals with cooling the newly deceased to cryogenic temperatures and storing them in hopes that future technology can restore them to consciousness and health. I have also written a book, Forever for All, which explores some scientific and moral issues connected with the possibility of physical immortality. I am a cofounder and member of the Society for Universal Immortalism which is devoted to one day solving the problem of death in its entirety through a scientific approach.
