Hello, my name is Mary McCoy and I am a student at the University of California, Merced. I am a Biology major, currently partaking in a Writing 10 course which is encouraging me to learn Wikipage editing. My writing skills are excellent, but my computer skills could be improved upon. I enjoy scientific research more than researching online articles, which is why I’m not very familiar with Wikipedia yet. I plan to use Wikipedia through my Writing 10 course to complete assignments as well as learn to contribute as a Wikipedia editor. This could be useful for future Wiki-research.
