BIO

Roman Moiseyev was born in Moscow in 1960. He received a solid musical education at the Russian Gnesin Academy of Music and the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. Tchaikovsky, having completed a full course of opera and symphony conducting in Dmitry Kitaenko's master classes.

Moiseyev improved his mastery under the guidance of Professor Gennady Rozhdestvensky, having displayed a number of valuable qualities: “...strong emotionality, a true feeling of style, developed performance will and manual technique easily perceived by the orchestra musicians...”

Nowadays, maestro Moiseyev is a well-known Russian musician. He has also been applauded in Belarus, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Ukraine... His concerts are always characterized by the highest professionalism and enjoy well-deserved success. His wide repertoire embraces symphonic, chamber, oratorio music, more than 20 titles of operas and ballets. The greatest attention is given to creativity of composers-romanticists.
