Louise Havey is British business consultant. She is the chair in the Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting and is based in Brussels.[1]

Career[edit]

Havey spent over 25 years in business consulting.

She was the President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium. She also was the vice chairman of a large communications and public affairs company. Harvey worked in the public and private sector on financial services issues over careers in global commercial centers. Her sector and practice expertise includes Strategic communications; trade, competition and gambling policies. Before moving into public affairs consultancy, she worked for 13 years for the British Foreign Office. Harvey worked on European issues and had postings as a diplomat in Kuala Lumpur, Dar es Salaam and The Hague, therefore has extensive public and private sector experience. She also worked for clients across many sectors including financial services, airlines, professional services, food and drink, ICT, retail and car manufacturing. Her recent and current clients include European Lotteries and the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company.[2]

Awards[edit]

Harvey was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to British business in Belgium in 2004.[3]
