The March of Voices is a non-profit organization aimed at preventing teen suicide[1] . This is a silent epidemic is, and has been, sweeping, not just our nation, but the entire world. Resulting in 4400 deaths per year, it is the third leading cause of death for youth ages 10-24 [2] .

This is an epidemic that no one seems to want to talk about. We cannot just stand by and watch this generation of youth, the possible future leaders of our country, take their own lives. We must stand up, proactive and strong, and work towards beating the depression that may precede a suicide. - Michael Turner, Co-Founder

In an attempt to promote awareness, the March of Voices created a walk to raise money. This money went to the I Need a Lighthouse foundation. This year was the first year that this walk was done and approximately $700 was raised[3] . Because of the walk, the organization has decided that they are going to try to have events all year round.
