I adopted the pseudonym Mrskeptic, because I tend to be skeptical about pseudo-science, religion, and belief systems that don't rely on verifiability and evidence. However I am not at all skeptical about anthropogenic climate change, although that's what "skeptic" has unfortunately come to mean for some people.

I'm most interested in data access, data models, and specifically scientific data abstractions, access, and software.

I haven't been active in Wikipedia land up till now, but I'm currently trying to save the CF_Metadata_Conventions page from deletion. Mrskeptic (talk) 17:11, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

So it looks like the CF_Metadata_Conventions got merged into the NetCDF article, despite my arguments for keeping it separate. Oh, well ... --Mrskeptic (talk) 20:34, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
