Derek Huether (born December 11, 1968) is an American author and blogger.[1]

Huether wrote his inaugural blog post on 15 May 2008, under the original web domain, The Critical Path.[2] [3] 

Notably, The Critical Path blog was nominated in the Computer Weekly 2010 IT Blog Awards, in the area of Project Management.[4]

The blog was moved to its current domain in 2015.[5]
