From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ms. Hurst is a teacher in Chesapeake, Virginia. She has a dog, Gage, and 2 kitties, Kiki and Ninja. She went to ODU and has her Master's in Elementary Education, but has also gotten her education in automotive diagnosis and repair and LPN nursing. She has 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 nieces. She is writing this article to prove to her students that anyone can write an article on Wikipedia, and why it is important to verify the information they get from the internet.

Gage and Ninja

Ms. Hurst wants her students to be able to figure out good sources versus bad sources for their research. A good source provides information about your topic, using facts obtained from reliable sources, that are and can be verified. Opinions are not good sources, and neither are false facts.

Wikipedia is great for general information, but because it can be edited and unconfirmed information can be submitted, more research must be done before using Wikipedia as a source.

This articel is online. Is any of it true? What are somethings about this page that you can use to find out if it is true or false?
