Michael Sanie is an French-American composer/pianist. He has performed on four continents and his repertoire covers the classic concert repertoire as well as 20th century music. He has performed and recorded German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Eastern European, and American composers. His piano pedigree includes names such as Teodor Leszetycki, Liszt, Carl Czerny, and Beethoven.

As a composer, Michael Sanie's works have been both performed and recorded. His latest works include "7 Berceuses a quatre 'petites' mains", "Four Short Pieces for Cello & Piano", and "Toccata for piano". His most often performed compositions are "Duet for Clarinet and Piano" (composed 1994) and "La Nuit (on a poem by Paul Eluard)" (composed 1997). His composition pedigree includes names such as Roger Sessions and Ernest Bloch.
