Victor Roache is a very family orientated individual. Growing up, his family was always by his side through thick and thin. He worked hard from day one to become the individual he is from schooling to baseball. He knew what he needed to do to play at the next level. Education was key to him growing up because it was something to fall back on. Victor had the chance to come out of high school and go directly the the MLB (Major League Baseball), but instead, he chose to go down the path of first getting an education because he believed that that was first and foremost one of the most important parts of his life. The professional level would be there.

Victor Roache was born on September 17, 1991 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was raised by his mother Sabrina Roache and his father Almon Roache. He grow up with one older sister name Victoria Roache. Growing up, Victor played basically all sports: basketball, baseball, football, soccer, golf, and bowling. He decided around the age of 16 that he wanted to focus his attention on baseball. His father, Almon Roache, helped his son on this long journey. From elementary, to junior high, to high school and to the level he is at now, he was always by his side. Telling Victor things he should and shouldn't do. Things that would help him improve his game as an individual.

High School

Victor Roache attended Lincoln Senior High School in Ypsilanti Michigan where he was a honor student and was a four year varsity baseball player. He earned his varsity letters in baseball, basketball, and football. As a freshman, he had a .325 batting average and .425 batting average as a sophomore. He is in the top ten in the categories of batting average, total games, total hits, home runs, on base percentage, runs, runs batted in, slugging percentage, and stolen bases at Lincoln Senior High School. He was the first person ever to get drafted at a professional level for any sport. This was the time where Roache was able to actually showcase his talent. He attended many baseball showcases which gave himself the opportunity to showcase his talent to college and professional scouts.

College

After his graduating year of 2009, Victor was drafted by the Detroit Tigers, but chose to go to college at the Georgia Southern University on a baseball scholarship. He also received a scholarship from the University of Michigan. Georgia Southern baseball had a busy recruiting class after recruiting eleven upcoming freshman. Victor has had a rough start to the start of his college baseball career. In his first 20 games as a Georgia Southern Eagle, he has participated in twelve games with only six hits in his first 32 appearances at the plate which is a .187 batting average. With as high of a caliber player Victor is, he'll get back into the way of things and will help contribute to the winning of his baseball team.

Accomplishments

Victor was named first team all conference and all district two times in high school. In the year of 2008, he was ranked 77th nationally and in the top 10 of Michigan. He was elected to play in the 28th annual Michigan High School East-West All Star Classic. He played summer baseball with a top baseball team MSA. This helped him showcase his talent towards many scouts at the college and professional level. Roache wasn't surprised at all hearing his name being called in the 2010 MLB draft. What he was surprised about was the team that choice him. Hometown team, the Detroit Tigers picked him in the 25th. He never really was given much time and attention by the Detroit Tigers. The teams that showed him the most interest were the Philadelphia Phillies and the Cleveland Indians.
