Muayad S. Dawood Al-Samaraee chairman of MD Aerospace announces a breakthrough invention for Multi Rotor “Submersible/airplane” Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) using innovative movement control “Principle” called (AEROTMAC) aerodynamic - thrust marginal accurate control

This invention presents aircraft module with multi rotors (Shrouded-propeller) that have the ability for flying and submersing and to be used for transporting loads and persons including the crew with the ability for taking off from and landing on both ground and water similar to the conventional helicopters. Also it has the ability to fly over water surface and submerse under water surface with moving and maneuvering until reach the shore. This invention design can cross over many problems in criteria difference between flying and submersing vehicles, and can be assigned as the first invention in this field around the world.

"The invention, when operational, will have the capability to revolutionize intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for coast guard patrols to secure borders against new or upgraded threats in criminal activities such as trafficking, drug smuggling, illegal immigration and environmental control ultimately helping to save lives, "according to Mr. Muayad S. Dawood Al-Samaraee, CEO of MD Aerospace.

Future vehicles will be able to take off and land vertically from land or a warship, fly through the air, skim across water, submerge, travel underwater and maneuver to a coastline where they can loiter off the coast or move onto the coastline. The vehicles will be able to leave the coastline and return to their home destination or a new one in the same way they arrived.
           The designer  he successfully designed the “submersible VTOL aircraft” as a result of his new scientific approach for the motion through controlling the speed of the medium going through rotatable shrouded-propeller units with surrounding directive duct guiding the medium (water or air) current passing through. This design is unique because all these directive duct propeller units have equally rotating speed, and this new scientific approach can be achieved by generating variance in pushing speed between these units without changing its rotation speed, or its blade angles.  This new design can generate individual variation in medium speed through (physical characteristics changes in the medium) which leads to achieve the “ability to create a highly accurate control within a limited percentage” in medium pushing speed because of the variation in temperature/ pressure / density, for the “medium” going through “units”, which leads to cause a partial difference in the speed that allow to control the movement of the submersible VTOL aircraft” in all angles and directions. Also this approach gave the designer to do his new invention by rotating the “units” through gear boxes (transmission) powered by one or more engine(s) installed inside the vehicle and isolated from outside environment using same principle in submarine (engine installation). “Units” = directive duct propeller units     “Medium” = Air or water

This design is registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan having an Industrial Design number 44/2012 dated 10/6/2012, with a final registration number of 1927 dated 3/6/2013.

Designer invention approach been recognized as completely different approach compared to other designers approaches in this field, in other word, the industrial race been applied through controlling the pushing speed for liquids through controlling propellers speeds and angles used for pushing liquids. While this new design depends on controlling liquid speed through its physical characteristics variation control, and based on that, the inventor announce that this new invention for the “movement partial control” is a New worldwide invention under the name: (MD-AEROTMAC) Aerodynamic – Thrust Marginal Accurate Control


MD-AEROTMAC new invention principal can be defined as: The possibility of increase or decrease the current speed of a fluid medium (Air and/or Water) inside a tube body “as a result of physical manmade effect on fluid specifications” within maximum and minimum limits in controlling the fluid speed and this control variation is proportional to physical effect that the fluid put into, even it is thermal, pressure or density effect.

This (AEROTMAC) SAMARAEE - Breakthrough invention principal will invigorate the aerospace industry to build the next generation of products, based on studies that show these developed countries are racing to achieve this new approach of aerodynamic - thrust marginal accurate control.
