Mudakkari Pathi

Mudakkari pathi is a pathi locate at moorkkattipady,  kottayam, kerala. Pathi is a warship place of Sambava  caste in kerala. Mudakkari Pathi is there in the place for the last four centuries as per the beleifs of the Mudakkaril family members. Its under the control of the Mudakkaril family and the festival of the pathi is conducting in the month of february in every year.

Mudakkaril family history is related with this pathi.  The exact orgin of the mudakkaril family is unknown. But there was a book published in 2019, Theendappadu written by Mudakkarin. Even if its a novel, it narrate the history of the Mudakkari family. As per it Mudakkari is a name of a person who lived aproximately 400 years ago. His youngsters is known as Mudakkaries. Some of them in the family was "velichappads" in the local temples. The last velichappad was Chandran who died in 1980.Their family then splitted in to many areas and now the youngsters are living in Piravom, Peruva, vandiperiyar,parumthum para,  ponkunnam, pala..
