Mike Watson has just about figured out what he wants to be when he grows up. He’s been a plumber, a sous chef, an elementary and high school teacher, an instructor in the writing center at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson campus, a Chief Information Officer for a national law firm, and the owner of several small companies ranging from a computer school for children to a clothing company. Currently, he is the IT Director for a Florida law firm. As if that weren’t enough to keep him busy, he has also directed a community theatre programme in Surfside and was Coach of the Year (1998) for a Miami Beach intramural youth soccer team. He started but did not finish (children happen) a double major at the University of Miami in Marine Science and Biology (1988) and later went back to earn an AA with Highest Honors in English Literature and Education at Miami Dade College (2007). He is an award winning author. [1] In his spare time, he writes poetry, short stories, and essays. He hopes to be a real boy someday.
